What’s the difference between laminate and designer shingles?
Laminate (also called architectural) shingles are layered for depth and are the most common choice. Designer shingles are thicker and mimic slate or shake for a more distinctive look, at a higher price.
Can new shingles go over my old roof?
We recommend a full tear-off. It lets us check and repair the decking underneath, and it’s usually what manufacturers expect for their product warranty.
