Agreeing to these terms

These terms govern your use of the First Response Home Services (“FRHS,” “we,” “us”) website and the home improvement services we provide in the metro Atlanta area, including roofing, gutters, siding, windows, doors and exterior cleaning. By using our website or hiring us, you agree to these terms.

In plain English

By using this website or hiring us, you’re agreeing to what’s on this page.

Our services

All work is performed according to a written estimate or proposal that you approve. Our work meets applicable local building codes and uses industry-standard materials and workmanship.

In plain English

We do the work described in the written estimate you approve, to local building code, with quality materials.

Where we work

We serve communities throughout metro Atlanta and nearby areas. Availability may vary by location; see our Service Areas page or contact us to confirm.

In plain English

We work across metro Atlanta and North Georgia. If you’re not sure we cover your area, just ask.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and carry no obligation. Prices may change if we discover hidden damage, if you change the scope of work, or if site conditions differ from our initial assessment. We will discuss any change with you, and you must approve it before additional work is done.

Any prices, ranges or examples on our website are for general information only. Your price is set by a written estimate following an in-person inspection.

In plain English

Estimates are free, with no obligation. If we find hidden damage once the work starts, or you change what you want done, we explain it and nothing changes without your OK.

Payment

Payment terms are stated in your estimate or contract. We accept cash, checks, major credit cards, Zelle and Venmo. Larger projects may require a deposit. Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the work.

In plain English

Your estimate or contract spells out when payments are due. We take cash, checks, major credit cards, Zelle and Venmo. Bigger jobs may need a deposit, and you make the final payment when the work is done.

Warranty

We provide a workmanship warranty covering defects in our installation and labor. The specific terms are included in your written agreement. Materials are covered separately by the manufacturer’s warranty .

Warranties do not cover damage from storms or other natural events, damage caused by lack of maintenance, alterations made by others, or normal wear and tear.

In plain English

We stand behind our workmanship, and your written agreement has the specifics. Shingles and other materials also carry the manufacturer’s own warranty. Neither covers storm damage, normal wear or work someone else does later.

Scheduling and cancellation

Project schedules may be affected by weather and material availability. Outdoor work may be postponed because of rain or extreme heat. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel a scheduled service. Cancellation fees may apply if materials have already been ordered or delivered.

In plain English

Weather and material deliveries can move a start date, and we won’t work on a roof in the rain. If you need to cancel, please give us at least 48 hours. If materials are already ordered, there may be a fee.

Insurance and liability

FRHS is licensed and insured, including general liability and workers’ compensation coverage. Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service involved. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

In plain English

We’re licensed and insured, with general liability and workers’ compensation. If something goes wrong, our responsibility is limited to what you paid for that particular service.

Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

In plain English

If we update these terms, we’ll post the changes here with a new date.
