A damaged section can often be replaced without redoing the whole wall, if the surrounding siding is in good shape and a matching material is available. We'll check before we recommend anything.

Signs to watch for
When it's time to call about siding repair
- Cracked, loose or missing pieces. Openings let water reach the wall behind.
- Rotting corner boards or trim. Trim is often the first place moisture shows.
- Soft or stained soffit and fascia. A sign of water coming from the roof edge or gutters.
- Gaps where water can get behind the siding. Small gaps can lead to bigger repairs.

More siding questions →What are fascia and soffit?
Fascia is the board along the edge of the roof where gutters usually attach. Soffit is the finished underside beneath the roof overhang.
Damage to either can point to prolonged moisture, gutter problems or a roof issue, so we look at what caused it before we repair it.
Can damaged siding be repaired without replacing all of it?
Sometimes. A damaged section may be replaceable if the surrounding siding is sound and a compatible material is available. It depends on what caused the damage and what’s happening underneath, so we check before recommending repair or replacement.
What causes siding damage?
Storms, impact, age and water are the usual causes. Water from failing gutters or roof edges is a common hidden one, which is why we look above the damage, not just at it.
Do you repair soffit and fascia too?
Yes. Soffit and fascia often take damage alongside siding and gutters, and we repair them as part of the same visit when needed.
