Chase is exceptional! He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. He came out to inspect damage to my mom’s home after a large oak tree that fell on it during a recent storm. My mom used another company to place a tarp on the house and that was a mistake. They tried to charge her $1,600 (after she was quoted $500 on the phone) for an inadequate and rushed job (they spent about 40 minutes total to perform their inspection and place the tarp and were annoyed when I asked for them to get back on the roof to blow off some of the tree debris they were going to leave). Working with Chase is a breath of fresh air. He is very caring and genuinely wants to help people. He did not have to do this, but he took time out of his busy day to help us fix the tarp that was not put on right while he was on the roof inspecting all the damage. He also inspected the damage from inside the attic, something the other company that placed the tarp did not care to do. He spent almost 3 hours with us and really appreciated that he wants to help us navigate this difficult situation. He performed a very thorough inspection, took detailed photos of all the damage, clearly explained all his findings, and was very easy to communicate with. I am extremely grateful I found him. It is hard to find good people like Chase. I also love that Chase owns this local and independent business that is not affiliated with a greedy corporation. I highly recommend First Response Home Services and am so thankful for everything Chase did for us!
I had a leak in my home that needed a tarp. This is my second tarping, because the first person took my money and the leak never stopped which created a larger issue. Chase was referred to me and he came and did the job that the first company didn’t. I’m relieved to say it is no longer raining in my home. Chase was professional, explained every step of what the issue was and alleviated my stress of further damage to my home. I will be calling Chase to replace my roof soon. Great experience and appreciate that I can sleep through the night without fear of my home flooding. Thank you Chase!!!!!
It was a pleasure working with Chase for my chimney repair. He was honest and professional throughout the process. Step by step he explained the entire job with detailed pictures. They got it completed quickly and charged a fair price. I would definitely recommend using him for home repairs.

More roofing questions →My roof is leaking right now. What should I do?
Call us at (404) 797-8115. If it’s safe, move belongings away from the drip, set out a bucket and take a few photos. Please don’t climb onto the roof.
We can tarp the affected area to limit further damage until a permanent repair is scheduled.
How long can a tarp stay on my roof?
A tarp is meant to protect your home for a short time until a permanent repair is made. We’ll talk through the repair plan while we’re there so it doesn’t stay up longer than it needs to.
Should I try to tarp the roof myself?
Please don’t. Wet roofs are slippery and storm damage can make them unstable. Move belongings away from the water, take photos if you can and call us.
